As a Technical Specialist you will be defining and implementing effective test strategies, develop comprehensive test plans, and automate test cases to ensure high-quality software delivery. you will be working on various testing methodologies, frameworks, and scripting languages to enhance test coverage and efficiency. Perform automation testing on complex network systems, handle troubleshooting and debugging issues, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and contribute to continuous improvements in testing processes and product reliability.
HOW YOU WILL CONTRIBUTE AND WHAT YOU WILL LEARN
- Define test strategies, write comprehensive test plans, and automate test cases.
- Gain expertise in RHEL or Unix-based operating systems and scripting.
- Work with containerization technologies like Docker and Kubernetes and understand cloud-native architecture and cloud security.
- Develop domain knowledge in OTN, DWDM, SDH/SONET, Ethernet, and GMPLS transport protocols.
- Work with database systems like Oracle or equivalent.
- Gain experience in Hadoop File System (HDFS), Spark, and Hive QL.
- Enhance analytical and debugging skills to troubleshoot complex systems.
KEY SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
You have:
- Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or computer science with relevant experience
- Minimum 5+ years of testing experience in EMS/NMS or OSS.
- Previous experience in telecommunications network and system verification.
- Programming skills (Python, Java, SQL)
- Exposure to technologies like DWDM, CWDM, SONET, OTN, Ethernet, IP, GMPLS
It would be nice if you had:
- Experience on Jenkins, Ansible etc.
- Ability to work independently and also work effectively within a team
- Testing of WEB based applications, Testing of Client Server applications & use of Jira or equivalent tools.
