Senior Optical Engineer

Join our Optical Engineering Team as a Senior Product Designer, where you'll be pivotal in shaping the next generation of transponder/muxponder products. Collaborating closely with cross-functional teams—including Hardware, DSP, Firmware, and Software—you will optimize the performance of both client and line-side optics. Your day-to-day job will involve integrating line modules, designing validation tests, and ensuring quality assurance while translating complex system requirements into precise specifications. Additionally, you'll have the opportunity to mentor fellow engineers, fostering a collaborative environment centered around innovation. • MS or PhD in Optical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Applied Physics, or related fields
• 3+ years of experience in Coherent Optical Communication (Transceivers/Transponders)
• 5+ years in optical engineering development
• Deep expertise in Digital Signal Processing and high-speed optical signal generation/detection
• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines

It would be nice if you also had:

• Familiarity with optical communication systems and linear/nonlinear impairments
• Experience with standard industry design validation processes and product life cycle
• Strong English communication skills and people skills
