Internship - 5G Cloud Engineer

Greece (Hybrid)

Position: Working Student 5G Cloud
Duration: Full-time 8h/day, 6 months contract with the possibility to extend
Location: Hybrid in Athens, Greece


Education Recommendations: Currently a candidate for a Bachelor’s degree in Electronics, Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field;

HOW YOU WILL CONTRIBUTE AND WHAT YOU WILL LEARN

  • Implement and apply best practices in software testing methodologies.
  • Collaborate with a team of skilled developers and learn from their expertise.
  • Contribute to test automation and take ownership of side projects for the product.
  • Engage with micro-services, APIs, testing practices and integrate third party SW components.

KEY SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

Must have:

  • Solid knowledge of a scripting language, preferably Python or Bash.
  • Strong proficiency in at least one Object-Oriented Programming Language (C/C++, Java, Go).
  • Familiarity with REST APIs (JSON).
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Ability to work under strict deadlines and quality guidelines.
  • Commitment to continuous learning, discovering, and researching new technologies.
  • Good written English language skills.

Nice to have:

  • Basic knowledge of Telco Cloud Core Network, Docker/Containers/POD, HTTP/2, and Kubernetes.
  • Understanding of network architecture, especially 5G.
  • Experience with Agile methodology and software testing practices, including test automation.
  • Familiarity with Supervised Machine Learning techniques and algorithms (Random Forest, Logistic Regression).
