Product Qualification Specialist

United States

As a Product Qualification Specialist in the NI-IP Organization, you will be responsible for the product qualification of the latest products. This position requires self-starters who can manage complex products from early concepts through to release. You will work with highly motivated teams of engineering professionals and have personal responsibly to drive your activities.

HOW YOU WILL CONTRIBUTE AND WHAT YOU WILL LEARN

  • Participate in the development of complex electronic designs and responsibility in the planning/execution of product verification/qualification activities
  • Provide sizing and estimates of work and review of product qualification schedules
  • Work with 3rd party labs for product qualification test execution.
  • Review of 3rd party test reports for accuracy and content.
  • Work is carried out in an office and clean lab environment, with limited to no exposure to disagreeable elements

KEY SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

  • University or Technologist degree or equivalent work-related experience
  • Familiarity to telecom electronic standards (Telcordia, ETSI, ATIS,…)
  • 7+ years product qualification experience an asset
  • Understanding of product testing (EMC, Environmental, Safety,…)
  • Self-motivated enthusiastic team player with good written/verbal communication
  • Excellent analytical skills and ability to build relationships across multiple teams
  • Proficient with MS office tools
