HOW YOU WILL CONTRIBUTE AND WHAT YOU WILL LEARN

  • Lead in-depth technical discussions and conduct product demonstrations, lab evaluations, and network trials to showcase Nokia’s innovative solutions.
  • Collaborate with the Sales team to evaluate and develop business opportunities at the regional and sub-regional level.
  • Serve as a subject-matter expert, engaging customers to present tailored technical solutions and articulating the associated value clearly.
  • Build and manage relationships with customers at all organizational levels, facilitating both top-down and bottom-up sales initiatives.
  • Identify customer requirements and effectively communicate insights to internal pricing teams for optimal proposal development.
  • Analyze internal and external business challenges to recommend best practices that enhance products, processes, and services.
  • Provide comprehensive pre-sales and post-sales engineering support to ensure customer satisfaction and success.
  • Travel up to 50% for customer engagements, collaborative strategy sessions, and representation of Nokia at industry events.

KEY SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

  • At least 15 years of technical pre-sales experience, including leading customer engagements, meetings and internal strategies, in the telecommunications (IP, and/or Fixed Networks) industry
  • At least 15 years’ networking experience, including IP, Optical or data center-related technologies.
  • In-depth knowledge of IP networking and architectures
  • Experienced in building large networks
  • Expertise in protocols including OSPF, ISIS, BGP and MPLS
  • Candidates must have hands-on experience on major network vendor equipment.
  • Demonstrated success in challenging customer-facing roles; ability to build positive relationships and serve as the primary technical face of Nokia
  • Proven experience in complex selling environments, driving consistent strategy across multiple customer sets.

It would be nice if you also had:

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering or equivalent experience.
  • Advanced expertise in Linux and DevOps skill sets.
  • Experience selling Data Center NIP accounts.
  • Major vendor certification (routing, security, cloud, virtualization).
  • Experienced with Cisco, Juniper, AWS, Palo Alto, etc.
