As an Assembly/Test Technician on our dynamic second shift team (3-11 PM), you will play a crucial role in assembling and testing our cutting-edge Opto- Electronic products that power high-performance networks. Collaborating closely with engineers and fellow technicians, you will contribute to continuous improvements in manufacturing yields and throughput in a fast-paced, high-tech environment. Your keen attention to detail and fine motor skills will be essential as you tackle complex tasks and adapt to evolving demands. HOW YOU WILL CONTRIBUTE AND WHAT YOU WILL LEARN
Assemble and test advanced Opto-Electronic products with precision and attention to detail.
- Adapt to dynamic tasks and evolving requirements in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
- Collaborate effectively with management, engineering, and peers to enhance manufacturing yields and throughput.
- Demonstrate fine motor skills and a meticulous approach to complex product assembly.
- Utilize MS Windows and MS Office software for documentation and report generation.
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to optimize operational efficiency.
- Be proactive in learning new technologies and processes relevant to the role.
- Be available for overtime to meet production demands and support team goals.
KEY SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
You have:
- High attention to detail and strong fine motor skills
- Able to comprehend and follow instructions of varying complexity
- Adaptability to changing tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Experience with MS Windows and MS Office software
It would be nice if you also had:
- Background in manufacturing Opto- Electronic products
- Strong communication skills for collaborating with cross-functional teams
- Willingness to work overtime as needed for project demands
- Previous experience in a high-tech manufacturing environment
