Domain Solution Architect

As a Domain Solution Architect at Nokia, you will play a pivotal role in shaping end-to-end solutions tailored to our customers' unique needs. Collaborating closely with cross-functional teams, you will partner with customers to capture critical inputs and translate them into effective, technically sound requirements. Your expertise in SW Telco solution architecture will guide the design process, enabling the integration and optimization of various products and services, including Nokia's extensive portfolio and third-party offerings. You will thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment that fosters innovation and collaboration, with opportunities to contribute to strategic decision-making and project leadership. Your proficiency in Japanese and English will be essential as you engage with international customers, ensuring solutions meet their requirements while enhancing customer satisfaction and driving revenue growth.

Timezone: The Domain Architect will be required to be available/work in the timezone of the customer allocated.

• Act as a trusted advisor, understanding customer needs and capturing critical stakeholder inputs to tailor effective solutions.
• Develop customer-specific architecture by coordinating cross-functional teams and aligning stakeholder requirements with industry best practices.
• Design end-to-end solutions through high and low-level architecture, ensuring alignment with market positioning and customer goals.
• Apply solution architecture standards to maintain the technical integrity and compliance of implemented solutions over time.
• Lead the development and evaluation of solutions in specialized domains while driving collaboration across organizations.
• Contribute to strategic decision-making and problem-solving by leveraging analytical skills and complex judgment.
• Provide mentorship and guidance to junior team members, serving as a best practice resource and domain expert.
• Manage day-to-day operational issues and resource allocation for functional teams and projects, ensuring efficiency and effectiveness.
  
  

You have:

• Proficient in Japanese and English languages
• Experience in SW Telco solution architecture, development, and integration
• Knowledge of Unix/Linux OS and databases (Aerospike, MariaDB, Oracle, SQL)
• Competence in TCP/IP and main protocols (Diameter, HTTP2, SIP, Sigtran, SOAP-XML, SNMP)
• Advanced knowledge of network architectures/products and international standards (3GPP, ETSI)
• Experience with cloud technologies (VNF, CNF, VmWare, OpenStack)

It would be nice if you also had:

• Familiarity with payment systems and application integration projects
• Previous experience with OSS/BSS systems and frameworks
