Bell Labs - Researcher in Spatial Computing
We are looking to develop intuitive and efficient environmental and contextually aware interactions in the metaverse/omniverse with what is perceivable and what is not easily perceivable (e.g. physical phenomena, state of digital systems, planned robot paths/missions, etc.) to allow more optimal performance in the physical world including navigation, human and human/robotic interaction, & efficient operation specifically in industrial/medical environments.
Creation and real time dynamic digital representation of physical spaces and objects, AI/ML modelling, IoT sensors, data fusion, and the efficient data exchange between the physical and digital are some of the related areas of research. We anticipate that this position could encompass aspects of computer vision, front end data display and user data comprehension/ingestion, and spatial computing,
Our collaborative work process combines research, algorithm development, system-level design, and hands-on experimentation to develop end-to-end prototypes that operate robustly in the real world.
