We are looking for an excellent software developer who is ambitious about implementing solutions in this exciting technological space, and be at the center of Cloud Technologies, Network Automation and state-of-the-art Software Development in Golang and python.
Our Team
The confluence of 5G and cloud-native present the opportunity to our customers to go digital across their organization with scaling, service agility and extreme automation. We provide the automation to converge fixed, 4G and 5G with our universal adaptive core, pursue new business with edge cloud (factories, enterprises, scene analytics, Cloud RAN, etc.) or public cloud (new service launches, cloud-bursting, etc.), and link it all together with our programmable networking and cloud-interconnect solutions. As an end result, we enable our customers to grow their business with confidence.
Our Cloud portfolio provides the automation to meet the datacenter networking requirements when on-boarding and lifecycle-managing Virtual Networking Functions (VNF's) and Cloud-Native (Containerized) Networking Functions (CNF's) into their Cloud platform. To accomplish that, we integrate with Kubernetes, OpenStack, VMWare and public cloud.
Nokia's Cloud solutions help our customers to decouple growth from cost and automate their operations. Across hundreds of SDN & NFV commercial deployments, we’ve built our expertise in designing, securing and operating these networks.
HOW YOU WILL CONTRIBUTE AND WHAT YOU WILL LEARN
- You will analyze the product requirements for Cloud use cases.
- You will conceive and document a functional specification and software design.
- You will Implement the design (in Golang), dev-test it and address peer reviews.
- You will test-automate the implementation (in python + execution automated through ansible).
- You will analyze and resolve bug reports.
KEY SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
- You have obtained a master's degree in computer science or similar.
- You have passion for design and implementation of software.
- You have excellent development skills in Golang and/or python (having both is a strong plus).
- You have solid Linux experience. Experience with Kubernetes, OpenStack and/or VMWare is a strong plus.
- You have solid ground knowledge of IP networking.
- You have git / GitHub experience.
- You have English fluency.
