Senior R&D Engineer

As a Senior R&D engineer with expertise in cloud-native development, microservices architecture, scripting, and Helm charts, you will join our team that builds high-quality software solutions using Java and Spring Boot. With hands-on experience of designing RESTful APIs, managing microservices, and working across cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or OCP, you’re well-equipped to develop scalable, resilient solutions. Your skill set spans optimizing NoSQL databases, managing Kubernetes deployments with Helm, and partnering closely with DevOps teams to streamline CI/CD pipelines.

• Design and develop high-quality applications using Java and Spring Boot, implementing and maintaining RESTful APIs and microservices.
• Create and maintain UML diagrams for software architecture, define and manage JSON schemas, and optimize NoSQL databases like Neo4j, MongoDB, and Cassandra for efficient data handling.
• Develop and deploy cloud-native applications using AWS, Azure, or OCP, ensuring scalability and resilience in microservices environments.
• Manage Kubernetes deployments with Helm charts, work with DevOps teams to integrate CI/CD pipelines, and automate tasks using Python and Bash scripting.
• Ensure efficient data storage and retrieval, optimize system performance, and assist in automated deployment strategies.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, design solutions, and ensure seamless software integration.
• Maintain comprehensive documentation for software designs, APIs, and deployment processes, ensuring clarity and accessibility.
• Continuously enhance development workflows through automation, best practices, and performance optimizations.

You have:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in software development with a focus on Java and Spring Boot.
• Experience in RESTful API design and implementation.
• Exposure to CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI).

It would be nice if you also had:

• Relevant certifications (e.g., AWS Certified Developer, Oracle Certified Professional Java SE) are a plus.
• Knowledge of container orchestration and management.
• Familiarity with Agile development methodologies.
