The Role
We are looking for an ARCHIBUS Administrator to support our Real Property Planning and Management Branch. The incumbent would be someone who shares our core values of Integrity, Excellence, Respect and Creativity.
The ARCHIBUS Administrator will provide functional troubleshooting, guidance and training to users, support for business related and technical changes to the software and related processes.
In addition, the ARCHIBUS Administrator will support the collection and analysis of space management data from various sources, managing baseline linkages with other systems and, quality assurance and quality control functions for architectural drawings, providing technical and functional support to ARCHIBUS users, as well as support the development, deployment and implementation of additional software modules in the future.
The successful candidate will also be responsible for liaising with various Real Property stakeholders to report on spatial allocations, as well as providing training and support to a variety of professional as required. The incumbent may represent the National Research Council on various interdepartmental and professional ARCHIBUS & AutoCAD working groups and committees.
Screening Criteria
Applicants must demonstrate within the content of their application that they meet the following screening criteria in order to be given further consideration as candidates:
Education
Completion of a three-year college diploma in Architectural, Civil, Structural, Electrical, Electronic or Mechanical Engineering Technology.
University degree or certification in Information Management, Computer Science, Architectural design or drafting would be considered an asset.
An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.

Experience
- Significant* experience developing and interpreting architectural designs and drawings for various space planning, construction and renovation projects.
- Significant* experience performing data management functions, such as data entry, quality assurance/quality control, reporting, analysis of ARCHIBUS and AutoCAD designs, drawings and projects.
- Significant* and recent** experience developing, administering and/or implementing spatial management systems, such as ARCHIBUS, Revit, Yardi or similar solutions.
- Experience using the BOMA standards and guidelines for measuring space.
- Experience applying project management principles and business analysis to define and document requirements in conjunction with key stakeholders.
* Significant experience is defined as two (2) to six (6) years of experience.
** Recent experience is defined as experience acquired within the last five (5) years.
The following experience criteria would be considered as an asset:
• Experience providing expert technical and strategic advice related to AutoCAD and ARCHIBUS products.
• Experience with Cloud deployed solutions.
• Experience managing data for commercial, industrial or scientific facilities and assets.

- Ability to interpret and analyze architectural designs, drawings, sketches and/or schematics.
- Ability to develop and implement project management documents such as business cases, requirements documentation, and project implementation plans.
- Ability to troubleshoot and train users on various information management system platforms.
- Knowledge of space management standards and guidelines.

Compensation
From $66,126 to $91,012 per annum.
