The Role

We are looking for an SAP System Administrator to be located within NRC’s Knowledge Information and Technology services (KITS). The successful candidate would be someone who shares our core values of Integrity, Excellence, Respect and Creativity.

The successful candidate is an SAP Basis administrator with extensive experience supporting SAP ECC 6 EHP8 in a Windows Server and Microsoft SQL Server environment, SAP BW systems, SAP BusinessObjects servers, ECC to S/4HANA conversion, SAP HCI/BTP, IAS/IPS, Solution Manager 7.2, MaxDB, SAP ESS/MSS portals, along with strong troubleshooting, communication, and interpersonal skills. Within a small, dynamic team, the ideal candidate actively supports our clients while expanding their technical and business knowledge. Our candidate strives to enable our clients through one-on-one support ticket resolution. They also play a pivotal role in the identification, planning, development, and verification of enhancements to NRC’s SAP solutions.

Education

Successful completion of two years of post-secondary education in Computer Science, Information Technology, Information Management or another specialty relevant to the position or an acceptable combination of education, training and/or experience may also be considered.

Experience

  • Significant* and recent** experience in SAP Basis administration in an SAP ECC 6 environment
  • Significant experience in supporting an SAP infrastructure on Windows Server, Microsoft SQL Server and higher versions
  • Experience in supporting Basis requirements for SAP BW/BOBJ
  • Experience in supporting SAP ESS/MSS portals
  • Experince in MaxDB installation / upgrade / manteinance for SAP Content server
  • Experience in ECC to S/4HANA migration
  • Experience in planning and implementing SAP upgrades, migrations, and installations in complex systems.
  • Leading projects and collaborating with external and internal clients, functional team and/or technical team

*SIGNIFICANT EXPERIENCE refers to a depth of experience in the IM/IT field that would normally be acquired over a period of three (3) years or more

** RECENT EXPERIENCE is defined as experience within the last five (5) years.

Assets:

  • Experience in configuring and supporting SAP's Solution Manager system
  • Experience with SAP SuccessFactors
  • Knowledge of SAP ECO (E-Commerce) and integration with Microsoft Dynamic 365 Commerce

Compensation

From $101,874 to $127,511 per annum.
