Overview:

As a Distribution Channel Manager at Mitel, you will be responsible for managing and driving growth through strategic partnerships with Jenne and ScanSource. This role requires a deep understanding of Mitel's product portfolio, as well as the distribution and reseller landscape, to maximize revenue and strengthen channel relationships.

Key Responsibilities:

Channel Partner Relationship Management:

  • Build and maintain strong, collaborative relationships with key stakeholders at Jenne and ScanSource.

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for all channel-related activities, fostering trust and partnership.

Strategic Planning and Execution:

  • Develop and execute tailored business plans to drive mutual growth with Jenne and ScanSource.

  • Identify joint opportunities for growth and create strategies to optimize the sales pipeline and expand market share.

Sales Enablement:

  • Provide Jenne and ScanSource teams with training, tools, and resources to effectively promote Mitel solutions.

  • Deliver product updates, marketing materials, and enablement programs to keep distribution teams aligned with Mitel’s offerings.

Revenue Growth:

  • Track performance metrics and ensure both Jenne and ScanSource achieve quarterly and annual revenue targets.

  • Drive co-marketing initiatives and lead-generation campaigns in collaboration with the partners.

Operational Excellence:

  • Ensure seamless operational alignment with Jenne and ScanSource, including inventory management, pricing strategies, and incentive programs.

  • Address challenges such as deal registration and support escalations in a timely manner.

Performance Monitoring and Reporting:

  • Monitor sales trends, analyze partner performance, and report on key metrics to Mitel leadership.

  • Use data-driven insights to recommend improvements and capitalize on emerging opportunities.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree preferred; or high school diploma + relevant experience

  • Proven experience in distribution channel account management (DCAM), particularly in the technology or telecommunications sectors.

  • Familiarity with the operations and sales models of distribution partners like Jenne and ScanSource.

  • Strong negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.

  • Ability to create and execute joint business plans with measurable success metrics.

  • Experience with UCaaS (Unified Communications as a Service) or related technology solutions is a plus.

Preferred Skills:

  • Deep understanding of the Mitel product portfolio and competitive positioning.

  • Proficiency in Salesforce or other CRM tools.

  • Strong analytical skills to assess partner performance and forecast opportunities.
