Overview:
We are currently hiring for a VOIP Software Engineer to design and implement state-of-the-art real-time communication devices, including Voice over IP systems, network management and integration with multiple Call Manager platform
You can be part of a dynamic and energetic team of software developers, tasked with the development of Mitel's family of Voice-over-IP (VoIP) sets. We're looking for a creative individual, with the ability to see beyond their assigned task, to expand and enhance our family of VoIP sets.
Responsibilities:
Development of application and infrastructure software that runs on VoIP sets;
Integration, testing, debugging and modification of VoIP set software
Participation as a Sprint Team member or scrum master in an Agile development
Requirements:
Any Graduation/ Post Graduation
3+ years of C/C++ development experience in data/telecom fields. Preference in SIP or WebRTC related communication systems.
Solid understanding of data and telecommunication networks and protocols
Strong working knowledge of Linux kernel, multi-process, multi-thread and time critical environments, MySQL, shell scripting, scripting languages and performance tuning
Good understanding of software architecture, and the interworking of software modules and components.
Possess solid troubleshooting and design testing skills using latest tools available.
Familiar with test-driven development practices
Familiar with different software development processes and large team-based development practices such as Agile.
Collaborative team player with excellent verbal and written communication skills. Able to work well with other development team members, as well as with other teams in the company
Ability to work effectively in a multi-tasking, multi-priorities and time critical environments
