Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Treasury Analyst that will support the treasury function by focusing on treasury analytics, covenant reporting, and borrowing base reporting. This role involves monitoring and analyzing financial data, ensuring compliance with loan agreements, and preparing detailed reports. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, a deep understanding of financial covenants and borrowing bases, and a proactive approach to problem-solving.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Covenant Reporting: Monitor financial covenants and other requirements as stipulated in loan agreements. Analyze financial data to ensure compliance with covenant terms.

  • Borrowing Base Reporting: Calculate and report on borrowing base availability in accordance with credit agreements. Prepare detailed borrowing base certificates and ensure timely submission to lenders. Maintain accurate records of collateral and borrowing base calculations.

  • Process Documentation: Document treasury processes, including cash management, borrowing base calculations, and risk management procedures. Ensure that all processes are documented in accordance with company policies and best practices. Continuously review and update process documentation to reflect changes in operations, systems, or regulations.

  • Compliance Management: Ensure compliance with internal controls, company policies, and external regulations related to treasury activities. Coordinate with internal and external auditors to provide documentation and support during audits. Identify and implement process improvements to enhance compliance and efficiency.

  • Treasury Analytics: Monitor and manage daily cash positions to ensure adequate liquidity. Develop and maintain financial models to support cash flow forecasting and liquidity management. Analyze financial data to provide insights and recommendations for optimizing cash management and investment strategies.

  • Bank Relationship Management: Liaise with banks and financial institutions to manage accounts, fees, and services.
    Risk Management: Identify, assess, and mitigate financial risks related to cash management, investments, and covenant compliance. Implement and monitor internal controls to safeguard the company’s assets.

  • Process Improvement: Identify opportunities to improve treasury processes and systems. Implement best practices to enhance efficiency and accuracy in treasury operations.

  • Support Treasury Projects: Assist in the implementation of treasury-related projects and initiatives. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support business objectives.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree; Master’s degree and/or relevant professional certification (e.g., CTP, CFA, CPA) is a plus.

  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in a treasury or finance-related role.

  • Experience with covenant compliance, borrowing base reporting, and financial analysis.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

  • Proficiency in financial modeling and analysis.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).

  • Familiarity with treasury management systems and financial software is preferred.

  • Strong analytical, communication and presentation skills
