Overview:
To provide technical support to internal staff within the EMEA IT Service Desk team whilst displaying excellent customer service skills.
Responsibilities:
Working in the European team to provide 1st level support for reported IT incidents
Being the IT representative within the Brasov office
Working with an incident management / IT ticketing system
Documentation of new issues and solutions for department knowledge base
Building working relationships with 2nd and 3rd level support teams
Ensuring Service Level Agreements (SLAs) are met
Deployment of IT equipment and maintaining asset management systems
Supporting new hires
Windows 10 & 11 support and maintaining laptop hardware
Office365 & Active Directory account management
Initial triaging of DNS, DHCP, printing, Azure, Wi-Fi and local network issues
Local IT ordering processes (quotations, purchase orders and inventory tracking)
Managing telecommunication contracts
Requirements:
3+ years’ experience in a similar role (IT Specialist, IT Systems Engineer, IT Support etc)
Good knowledge of laptop hardware and software (Windows 10&11 OS, SAP GUI, Adobe Applications, MS Office 365 applications, VPN etc.)
Good English language skills, both verbal and written
Knowledge of MS Active Directory, DHCP, DNS, InTune etc
Knowledge of VoIP systems
Teamworking skills
Experience of IT ticketing systems
Technical experience gained from an IT service or support background
A proven ability to provide an excellent customer service
A desire to investigate and learn about a variety of IT technologies
The ability to troubleshoot and a curious mind to find root causes for technical issues
The ability to manage and prioritise own workload
Skills to effectively deal with unhappy customers and emergencies
