Overview:

The candidate for this role is a motivated, extremely organized individual who uses their ability to look at information through different perspectives. They will assist in the preparation of consolidated and statutory audits required for a variety of global entities. This position plays a key role in working with external auditors and tracking to ensure deadlines are met. Their strong computer skills will enable them to gather support as needed to complete the audits.

This is a temporary role for ~8 - 10 months.

Responsibilities:

• Work closely with external auditors and gather information needed in a timely fashion

• Assist with month and quarter end tasks

• Knowledge of GAAP and IFRS

• Ability to prioritize tasks and work on multiple assignments

• An interest in digging into accounting transactions

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree or diploma required

• CPA required

• 3+ years of progressive and diversified experience in a financial environment; experience at an auditing firm highly preferred

• Knowledge of SAP is an advantage

• MS office - highly proficient in Excel required

• Previous experience with legal entry restructuring is an asset
