Job Description:
Replacement headcount for Engineer II – Software under MIT-PLP. This role backfills a recently vacated position and is required to sustain ongoing factory automation, equipment integration, and manufacturing system support activities. The position supports development and maintenance of software solutions interfacing with MES, QMS, ERP, and SEMI SECS/GEM-based equipment systems.
Without this replacement, there is risk to project delivery timelines, system enhancements, and operational support coverage for semiconductor manufacturing automation initiatives.
Requirements/Qualifications:
Education
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Engineering, or Electronics Engineering.
Other Requirements
• Experience with Agile development tools and practices.
• Basic understanding of semiconductor manufacturing automation.
• Knowledge of system integration and API development is important.
• Strong troubleshooting and debugging skills are important.
Work Experience:
• 2+ years of experience in software development.
