Job Description:

The PLP Senior Equipment Technician is responsible for the installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement of semiconductor manufacturing equipment used in wafer-level packaging processes. This role ensures maximum equipment uptime, process stability, and adherence to safety and quality standards while providing technical leadership to junior technicians.

Serve as the only trained personnel onsite during night hours, ensuring continuous monitoring of critical PLP tools and utilities.
Respond immediately to any tool alarms, failures, or abnormal conditions, especially those involving wet processes and bulk chemical systems.
Execute emergency shutdown, safety containment, or recovery procedures when incidents occur involving chemicals, utilities, or tool malfunctions.
Perform first‑level troubleshooting for facilities‑related interruptions (e.g., power fluctuations, CDA excursions, vacuum issues, chilled water instability).
Ensure equipment and chemical systems remain in a safe and stable state throughout non‑production hours.
Coordinate with Facilities, EHS, and Engineering teams for escalations when critical conditions require additional expertise.
Complete detailed incident logs and handover reports for Engineering and Production teams to review the next day.
Support environmental and chemical safety compliance by conducting periodic checks of chemical cabinets, scrubbers, drains, exhaust, and containment systems.
Act as the first responder in case of chemical spills, leaks, or safety alarms, given the absence of other staff on the line at night.

Requirements/Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Electronics Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, Industrial Technology, or related field. Engineering Degree
