Job Description:

1. Strategic sourcing, transactional procurement, and supplier management

2. Negotiate terms and conditions, long-term contracts and cost to reduce

expenditures and achieve the best total cost value.

3. Convert purchase requisition to purchase order and expedite goods/services until

delivery to the site.

4. Analyze and perform necessary due diligence activities before adding new

suppliers to the master vendor list.

5. Continuous Improvement efforts in the areas of quality, price, delivery, cycle time, etc.

6. Responsible for monthly reports and action items for purchasing goals.

7. Maintenance of purchase order files, supplier files, and quality records.

8. Some travel may be required.

9. Perform other related work as necessary.

Requirements/Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree

  • 0-3 years Purchasing experience

  • Excellent time management skills

  • Have good oral and written communication skills.

  • Be numerate and computer literate.
