Job Description:
As a Supply Chain Planner, you will manage production and material planning for multiple active product lines, which may be both locally or remotely manufactured. You will serve as an advocate for total customer satisfaction by focusing on the customer’s date requirements and communicating these to the operations team. Other responsibilities include revenue indices, on-time delivery, inventory management, forecast demand, and ERP transition.
We are seeking a candidate with a positive, proactive attitude, who demonstrates maturity, self-sufficiency, and the ability to be trained and operate effectively in a remote environment. The ideal candidate will possess a long-term vision for process improvement and business growth, and be nimble and flexible in adapting to changing priorities and business needs.
Main Duties & Responsibilities
- Plan, schedule, and monitor the movement of material through the production cycle.
- Determine material requirements from engineering and production schedules.
- Coordinate the efficient movement of materials with purchasing, production, and engineering.
- Manage work to predetermined metrics as well as individual, local, group, and corporate goals.
- Partner with the procurement team to support identification and validation of material requirements and best practice inventory management and controls.
- Interact and support several teams within operations and the business unit, including, but not limited to, manufacturing, sales, quality, and engineering.
- Review on-time delivery reports daily.
- Coordinate and work with Operations to ensure 100% on-time delivery by establishing and monitoring schedules and proactively identifying and addressing issues.
- Communicate with Customer Service on any line issues that might affect customer requirements and commitments.
- Attend to all inquiries regarding input allocation, capacity requirements and updates, cycle time, and delivery performance.
- Review goals, objectives, and quality standards with senior manager.
- Demonstrate a positive attitude, adaptability, and a long-term vision in all planning and process improvement activities.
- Operate with a high degree of self-sufficiency and maturity, especially when working remotely or with minimal supervision.
- Other duties as assigned.

Requirements/Qualifications:
Qualifications/Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in a related discipline (Supply Chain/Business/Engineering) and 2+ years’ relevant experience in a manufacturing and material planning role is preferred, preferably in the high reliability semiconductor industry.
- Applications will be accepted from candidates who may not meet the educational requirements but have equivalent industry experience as demonstrated on their CV.
- Experience with an ERP system such as Microsoft's AX2009 and AX2012 is very desirable.
