Job Description:

Reporting to the Manager Development Engineering, you will be part of our R&D team. As a Product Development Engineer, you will contribute to the development of Surface Acoustic Wave (SAW) filter and module solutions and help develop our technologies for next-generation acoustic wave devices.

This position will expose you to the technological challenges in the development of high-performance, miniature microwave acoustic components as a key facilitator for today’s wireless communication systems. You will work with various Engineering teams engaged in this process as part of a dynamic team focusing on developing RF solutions with leading-edge performance.

More details on the expectations and responsibilities in this position:

  • Contribution to and responsibility for product development projects for microwave acoustics (SAW) components and modules.
  • Contribution to cross-functional product and technology development projects to shape our next generation of acoustic wave solutions.
  • Ability to contribute to and manage different projects simultaneously.
  • Ability to develop basic software tools to support engineering projects.

Requirements/Qualifications:

  • Degree (Master’s or PhD preferred) in Electrical Engineering, Physics or comparable discipline.
  • Up to 2 years experience
  • Background / experience in RF engineering, i.e. EM- and circuit simulation tools (e.g. Keysight ADS) and measurement techniques.
  • Background in microwave acoustic technology (SAW / BAW) through professional or academic experience is highly desirable.

Competencies

  • Programming experience in Matlab, VBA and/or other relevant programming languages.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills in German and English with ability to prepare and present technical data and documentation.
