Job Description:
1. Work in a team interacting with product, test, failure analysis & manufacturing engineering counterparts.
2. Support new product development (NPD) activities from early industrialization to release-to-production in manufacturing site.
3. Continuous improvement for devices at manufacturing stage like test time reduction, test coverage, yield, capacity, & cycle time improvement.
4. Comply with quality standards set by Microchip.
5. Coordinate the build of customer samples, package, and product qualification materials for NPD.
6. Perform reject validation and analysis to support the reliability qualification.
7. Coordinate with project managers on the NPD timelines and deliverables.
8. Perform data analysis on product, test program, test system and test hardware performance, and comply its qualification specification in probe and final test operations.
9. Support data analysis and engineering evaluation on the issues in NPD and manufacturing.
10. Maintain, qualify, and release high quality test programs to production.
11. Coordinate and provide disposition to the result of the failure analysis of customer returns and production rejects under investigation.
Requirements/Qualifications:
1. BS degree in Electronics or Engineering equivalent.
2. Minimum 0-2 years of solid experience in product engineering.
3. Strong foundation in electronics and has background on semiconductor circuits.
4. Good written and verbal communication skills.
5. Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
6. Experience in microcontroller is an advantage.
7. Experience with ATE, and laboratory equipment like oscilloscope, power supplies, and multimeter is an advantage.
8. Experience in C/C++ programming is an advantage.
9. Experience with reviewing datasheets and hardware schematics is an advantage.
10. Awareness to General Quality Management and Manufacturing Standards (ISO9001, IATF16949) is an advantage.
