Job Description:
Position Overview: As a Senior Business Systems Analyst at Microchip, you will play a pivotal role in bridging business needs with technology solutions. You will lead the analysis, design, and implementation of complex systems and processes, driving business transformation and operational excellence. This role requires a blend of strategic thinking, technical proficiency, and exceptional communication skills to deliver impactful solutions that align with organizational goals.
Key Responsibilities:
· Lead Requirements Gathering & Analysis: Direct and facilitate the collection, analysis, and documentation of complex business and technical requirements across multiple projects and business units. Translate business objectives into actionable system solutions.
· Solution Design & Process Optimization: Architect innovative, scalable solutions that optimize business processes and enhance operational efficiency. Leverage industry best practices and emerging technologies to recommend improvements and future-proof systems.
· Stakeholder Engagement & Relationship Management: Serve as a trusted advisor and primary liaison between business stakeholders, IT teams (domestic and international), vendors, and consultants. Build strong relationships to ensure alignment and successful project outcomes.
· Project Leadership & SDLC Management: Oversee and coordinate all phases of the system development life cycle (SDLC), including requirements analysis, solution design, development, testing, implementation, and post-implementation support. Ensure adherence to project timelines, budgets, and quality standards.
· Advanced Data Analysis & Validation: Develop and optimize complex SQL and MongoDB queries to validate, retrieve, and analyze data. Ensure data integrity, accuracy, and consistency throughout the data lifecycle, and establish data governance standards as needed.
· Comprehensive Documentation: Author, review, and maintain detailed functional and technical documentation for systems, processes, and applications. Ensure documentation is clear, comprehensive, and accessible to both technical and non-technical audiences.
· Testing & Quality Assurance: Lead rigorous testing efforts, including system integration and user acceptance testing (UAT). Collaborate with end users to validate solutions, gather feedback, and drive continuous improvement.
· Issue Resolution & Continuous Improvement: Proactively identify, troubleshoot, and resolve complex system issues, including those related to Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) and other enterprise platforms. Drive ongoing enhancements and support for deployed solutions.
· Mentorship & Knowledge Sharing: Mentor and coach junior analysts, fostering a culture of learning, collaboration, and professional growth within the team.
· Strategic Initiatives & Innovation: Identify and champion opportunities for business transformation, process reengineering, and technology adoption that align with organizational strategy and deliver measurable value.
Requirements/Qualifications:
· Master’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Business Administration, or related field.
· 3+ years of experience in business systems analysis, with a proven track record of leading complex projects and delivering impactful solutions.
· Advanced proficiency in SQL, MongoDB, and data analysis tools.
· Strong experience with Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) or similar content management systems.
· Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
· Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills.
· Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey complex concepts to diverse audiences.
· Experience with Agile, Scrum, or other project management methodologies is a plus.
