As a Senior Software Test Engineer in the Marcom Group, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our software products. You will leverage your expertise in Manual & Automation Testing. Additionally, you will coordinate onsite testing activities, mentor junior team members, and collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • UI Test Automation: Develop, maintain, and execute automated test scripts using Selenium to ensure comprehensive test coverage and efficient regression testing.
  • API Testing: Develop, maintain, and execute API automated test scripts using Rest Assured framework.
  • Database: proficient in writing SQL queries and Mongo DB.
  • Azure Integration: Utilize Azure DevOps for continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines, ensuring seamless integration of automated tests.
  • Onsite Coordination: Act as the primary point of contact for onsite testing activities, coordinating with stakeholders to ensure alignment and timely delivery of testing milestones.
  • Mentorship: Provide guidance and mentorship to junior test engineers, fostering a culture of continuous learning and professional development.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to understand requirements, identify test scenarios, and ensure the highest quality standards are met.
  • Reporting: Generate detailed test reports, track defects, and provide actionable insights to improve product quality and development processes.

Requirements/Qualifications:

  • Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in software testing, with a strong focus on test automation using Selenium.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in Selenium WebDriver, Azure DevOps, API testing tools (e.g., Postman, SoapUI, Rest Assured), and scripting languages (Java).
  • Leadership: Proven experience in mentoring and leading junior team members, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with keen attention to detail.
  • Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Engineering, or a related field.
  • Adaptability: Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities effectively.

Additional Nice to Have Skills:

  • Performance and Load testing using JMeter or any other tools
  • Knowledge of Mobile Testing and Automation
  • The Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) compliance testing
  • Worked on Agile software development approach
