Job Description:

Job Summary:

The Test Engineering Manager leads a team of test engineers in the development and execution of testing strategies for RF ICs and Modules. This role ensures the reliability, performance, and quality of IC and Module products through rigorous testing processes. The manager collaborates with Design, Product Engineering, Applications and Marketing teams to optimize test methodologies and improve overall product performance and cost.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Team Leadership: Manage, mentor, and develop a team of test engineers, providing guidance and support to ensure high performance and professional growth.
  • Test Strategy Development: Design and implement comprehensive test plans and strategies for IC products, including defining test requirements, methodologies, and equipment.
  • Project Management: Oversee multiple testing projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and meet quality standards.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with Design, Product Engineering, Applications and Marketing teams to integrate testing processes into the overall product development lifecycle.
  • Process Improvement: Continuously evaluate and improve testing processes, tools, and methodologies to enhance efficiency, accuracy, reliability.
  • Data Analysis: Analyze test data to identify trends, issues, and areas for improvement, and provide detailed reports to stakeholders.
  • Compliance: Ensure all testing procedures comply with industry standards, regulatory requirements, and company policies and specifications.
  • Resource Management: Manage testing resources, including equipment, software, and personnel, to optimize productivity and cost-effectiveness.
  • Technical Expertise: Stay current with advancements in IC testing technologies and methodologies and apply this knowledge to improve testing processes.

Requirements/Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
  • Experience: Minimum of 12 years of experience in IC test engineering, with at least 2-3 years in a managerial or leadership role.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in IC testing tools and software, knowledge of ATE test automation, and familiarity with industry standards and best practices.
