Job Description:

As a member of the Analog Validation team, the candidate will be responsible for validation of the analog IP that will be used in our Microcontroller and Wireless products. This position is hardware, software, and lab analysis oriented. The candidate will actively participate in developing validation plans, test procedures, data collection, analysis, prepare reports, and represent findings throughout the process. The candidate must have DFT knowledge and be able to articulate possible concerns with engineers of different skillsets. The candidate must be a team player, self-motivated, possess good communication skills, able to work in a fast-paced challenging environment, and work with cross-functional teams across different sites.

Requirements/Qualifications:

Responsibilities:

  • Develop validation requirements and validation test plans for the analog IP based on device specifications and design requirements.
  • Develop and improve automated validation bench setups.
  • Develop test fixtures and test programs to guarantee the IP meets design objectives.
  • Bring up validation test boards, bench setups, and independently collect data and debug issues.
  • Skilled use of standard lab equipment, including oscilloscopes, meters, power supplies, and other measurement instruments.
  • Work independently
  • Interface with and support Design.
  • Validate and debug Silicon.

Requirements:

  • BSEE/BSCE plus 10 years of experience in post-silicon validation , MSEE/MSCE plus 7 years of experience.
  • Solid understanding of basic analog circuits (Op-amp, Regulators, ADC, DAC, Oscillators)
  • Excellent engineering documentation skills, verbal communication, and presentation skills.
  • Well organized, methodical, and detail oriented.
  • A self-motivated team player who can work with various cross-functional groups across different sites.
  • Exposure to NI Tools (e.g., Test Stand, LabVIEW) is a plus.
