Job Description:

Microchip is looking for an entry-level Human Resources Representative to join our team. The position will be onsite at both our Lowell, MA and Lawerence, MA locations. As a Human Resources Representative at Microchip, you will play a crucial role in supporting the HR department in various essential functions. This role is ideal for someone who is eager to learn and looking to build a foundational career in Human Resources.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist with recruitment activities including sourcing, screening and interviewing.
  • Assist with the new hire onboarding and off-boarding processes.
  • Maintain data in HRIS system (Workday) and generate reports/metrics as needed.
  • Assist with programs to enhance employee engagement and job satisfaction.
  • Provide advice, coaching and counseling to employees and managers regarding policy & procedure interpretation.
  • Assist with employee relations issues.
  • Maintain continuous learning of latest HR trends, best practices and technologies.

Requirements/Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or related field.
  • 0-2 years of Human Resources experience. Internship experience (within HR) a plus.
  • Excellent written and communication skills.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to provide a high level of customer service.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to act with integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality.
  • Ability to multi-task and balance multiple priorities effectively.
