Job Description:

Seeking high skilled and experienced Product Development Architect Group Leader to join the R&D team reporting directly to Business Unit Leader focusing on New Product definitions with emphasis on IP Development and Re-use. Position will be responsible for leading a team of product architects specifying new high-performance products for the Mixed-Signal and Linear products Business Unit which includes ADCs, DACs, Digital Potentiometers, Op Amps, Comparators, Voltage References, Thermal Management, etc. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in semiconductor physics, device architecture, and a proven track record of leading successful technical teams.

Requirements/Qualifications:

**Key Responsibilities: ** -

  • Build a team that interfaces with the various Business Unit functions to identify key architectural blocks to be utilized across multiple new product families
  • Lead and manage this team providing technical guidance and mentorship.
  • Identify and drive maximization of IP reuse to accelerate velocity of new product introductions
  • Act as a liaison between Marketing, Field Engineers, Design, Applications, Test and Product Engineering to assist in the definition of high-performance analog and mixed signal products
  • Create architectural descriptions of analog and mixed signal circuit blocks
  • Drive the development of innovative semiconductor device architectures that meet performance, power, and cost objectives.
  • Stay abreast of industry trends and advancements in semiconductor technology to ensure the company remains competitive.
  • Develop and manage project timelines, resources, and budgets.
  • Communicate progress and technical challenges to senior management and stakeholders.
  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement and technical excellence within the team.
  • Author technical reports, patent applications, and present findings at conferences or to customers as required.

**Qualifications: ** -

  • Master's Degree in Electrical Engineering and 15+ years design and/or architectural experience on Analog-to-Digital converters and other mixed signal products with at least 5 years in a leadership role. A Bachelor's Degree and outstanding experience will also be considered.
  • Strong understanding of semiconductor physics, device fabrication processes, and industry standards.
  • Experience with semiconductor simulation tools (e.g., TCAD, Simplis, H-spice) and design principles
  • Proven ability to lead and inspire a team of technical professionals.
  • Excellent problem-solving, organizational, and project management skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to a non-technical audience.
