Job Description:

  • Provide pre and post sales technical support to customers and fields, on Microchip’s FPGA products, tools, hardware, and documentation.
  • Support academic community across selected universities with FPGA IP cores, software, and hardware kits set up and troubleshooting.
  • Develop collaterals such as Knowledge Base articles, FAQs, application notes, design examples and demos for hardware development kits.
  • Help to develop training modules/ Videos as needed for customers on the IP and software portfolio offered by Microchip FPGA division.
  • You will be part of the of FPGA Applications Engineering team focusing on technical support.

Requirements/Qualifications:

  • Bachelor of Science in Electric Engineering(BSEE) or Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering(BSCE)
  • Understanding of Microcontroller architecture and its peripherals
  • Basic knowledge of C, Python and/or assembly programming
  • Strong problem-solving skills, and ability to independently drive issues to closure
  • Good written and verbal communication skills
  • Hard-working and committed; must be a self-starter and an excellent team-worker
  • Hands-on knowledge of programming 32-bit processors like ARM/RISC-V in C/C++ language is preferred
  • Basic experience in developing embedded software using Eclipse integrated development Environment and hardware debugger/ICE, is a plus.
  • Basic Knowledge of UART, SPI, I2C, ADC, CAN, PWM, and other microcontroller peripherals.
