Job Description:

This opening is for an Analog IC Design Engineer within the Mixed-Signal and Linear Products Division at our Chandler, Arizona location. As an analog designer, you will be responsible for the design and verification of innovative precision linear and mixed-signal circuits.

Duties and expectations:

• Design and simulate a variety of analog and mixed-signal integrated circuits including precision amplifiers, regulators, bias generators, bandgap references, charge pumps, oscillators, etc.
• Work closely with the layout designers to develop floor plans and optimize circuit layout.
• Assist the silicon validation team to measure, characterize and debug new analog products and test chips.
• Able to work cohesively and meet deadlines in a fast-paced team environment.

Requirements/Qualifications:

Minimum qualifications include:

• This position is open to new graduates with a Masters degree specializing in analog design or microelectronics.
• Good understanding of basic electronic circuits, analog design fundamentals and layout of analog circuits. Familiar with CMOS technology.
• Experience with analog design and simulation tools similar to Cadence/ADE, SPECTRE or HSPICE.
• Candidate must have excellent problem-solving skills, good written and verbal communication skills and the ability to work across functional groups and organizations.
• Familiar with data analysis techniques and tools Excel, MATLAB or similar.
• Some experience in hands-on lab/debug using oscilloscopes, multimeters, etc.
