Job Description:

MDA Space is looking to fill a summer student position as a Business Analyst to support the Corporate Business Transformation function. The analyst will work directly with Business Transformation Analysts, providing day to day analytical support, completing special assignments, and contributing to continuous improvement initiatives that advance our department and transformation projects.

Responsibilities:

Specific responsibilities for this position include:

• Conduct people, process and tool analysis that supports transformation initiatives by meeting with stakeholders and analyzing collected information.
• Contribute to special projects such as building on our change management program, knowledge portal and intranet optimization and planning, scheduling and running training and project events.
• Lead or assist with continuous improvement projects (e.g., workflow optimization, template standardization, data‑quality improvement initiatives) by identifying inefficiencies, proposing solutions, and documenting outcomes.

Desired Qualifications:

• Intermediate to advanced skills in Microsoft applications
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Strong attention to detail and ability to focus on repetitive tasks
• Positive attitude and willing to learn new things
• Strong desire to work in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities as required
• Area of study: STEM Program (preferred), Business, Communications (first year completed)

Comments/Special Considerations:

Successful candidates must obtain and hold security clearance at the enhanced reliability status level, and pass security assessment for the Controlled Goods Program (CGP) and ITAR.

The compensation range for this position is $23 - $26 hourly. The specific compensation offered will be based on the qualifications and experience of the successful candidate.
