We’re on the hunt for a Validation Lab Integrator to join our team in Israel.

Our Sat Connect IC business unit, a division of our Satellite Systems business is a leading provider of ASICs, software, multibeam electronically steered antennas, and complete systems for communication satellites, as well as ground and airborne terminals. Located in Israel, the UK, Bulgaria, and the US, we are a technology leader in satellite communication.

We design and deliver advanced ASICs, software, multibeam electronically steered antennas, and systems for communication satellites, as well as ground and airborne terminals.

We are seeking a proactive and hands-on individual to take full responsibility for our lab environment, support hardware and system integration tasks, and serve as a key point-of-contact for both local and remote teams. This is a full-time position, designed to reduce engineers’ workload, streamline lab operations, and ensure maximum system uptime.

Responsibilities:

Reporting to the Automation Team Leader, the candidate will have the following responsibilities:

  • Lab Environment & Equipment Management
    • Take ownership of the lab environment, including all equipment, boards, cables, racks, and power systems.
    • Maintain lab conditions (e.g., power stability, cooling, safety compliance).
    • Lead planning, building, and maintenance of new racks and lab infrastructure.
    • Monitor board/system health, conduct troubleshooting, and perform minor repairs.
    • Maintain inventory of boards, chips, and lab tools, ensuring availability and organization.
  • Integration & Technical Support
    • Running occasional tests on the company’s HW.
    • Serve as the POC for the company’s engineers, ensuring smooth lab access and system connectivity.
    • Coordinate and control modifications in the lab, including restricted rack access and configuration changes.
    • Troubleshoot and resolve communication or connectivity issues within the lab.
  • Operational Efficiency & IT Support
    • Provide first-line IT and system support for lab-related hardware/software.
    • Manage user access and connectivity for remote team members.
    • Take responsibility for lab and integration tasks to free up engineers for R&D activities.
    • Maintain logs/documentation for equipment usage, system modifications, and tasks.

Suitable candidates will ideally have the following experience & attributes:

Education & Certifications

  • Practical Engineer diploma (Electronics, Computers, or related field) – required.
  • Relevant certifications in hardware, networking, or system administration – an advantage.

Experience

  • 2–3 years in a lab technician, system integrator, or technical support role.
  • Hands-on experience with hardware integration, firmware/software burning, and system validation.
  • Experience maintaining and troubleshooting lab equipment, racks, and electronic boards.
  • Familiarity with IT/network troubleshooting (switches, cabling, remote connectivity).

Skills & Competencies

  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks.
  • Technical troubleshooting mindset and hands-on problem-solving abilities.
  • Good communication skills to act as POC for engineers and IT staff, locally and remotely.
  • Self-starter, capable of independently running lab operations and suggesting improvements.
  • Detail-oriented, proactive, and adaptable to new tasks and technologies.
