Could you be our next Senior Manager, Planning, Engagement & Deployment?
In this role, you will be responsible for the financial governance, roadmap, and reporting for global ANZ projects, ensuring alignment with the market’s technology and business outcomes. This dynamic role blends strategic planning, deployment and reporting, impactful stakeholder engagement, and extensive collaboration across both market business units and global technology teams.
What will my key accountabilities and duties be?

  • Owning the technology strategy, planning and roadmap function on behalf of the Australian and New Zealand market (ANZ)
  • Ensuring technology portfolio projects align with governance requirements for the global and the ANZ market.
  • Cultivating a customer-centric culture aimed at enhancing technology performance and maximising uptime across our technology platforms and in our restaurants.
  • Developing a detailed understanding of our technology products, their dependencies, and interconnection both at a market and global level.
  • Ensuring all stakeholders in the ANZ market are aware of key dates provided by the global tech team, such as national deployment ready and ensuring that these timelines reflect the ANZ markets national deployment and activation outcomes.
  • Status reporting for segment and global teams throughout the lifecycle of projects using systems such as Clarizen and Smartsheet.
  • Representing the ANZ market in the global technology annual planning process to ensure outputs align with the market strategy.
  • Partnering with the market change team to understand the priorities for the ANZ market and ensuring all technology activities ladder up to the portfolio plan.
  • Budget management activities that support the ANZ technology road map from a cost and resourcing standpoint.
  • Providing timely and accurate financial reporting, including forecasting and budget vs. actuals, highlighting areas of risk, and creating mitigation plans.
  • Accountability for the smooth deployment of global platforms and digital product software platforms.
  • Ensuring that deployment strategies and execution are planned and sequenced to minimise disruptions in restaurants.
  • Collaborating closely with both global and market teams to establish a comprehensive feedback loop for software deployments, ensuring ongoing and high-quality improvements.

Qualifications

Your keys to success:

  • Prior technology program and project management experience required.
  • Demonstrates deep knowledge of project management processes and tools (subject expert).
  • Experience communicating effectively with high levels of management and direct client contact.
  • Ability to create effective presentations and write business cases for senior leadership.
  • Ability to work under tight deadlines managing multiple key business priorities.
  • Project budgeting/costing expertise.
  • Ability to solve very complex problems and deal with a variety of work situations.
  • Strong understanding of a variety of technology solutions.
  • Motivational leadership skills.
  • Bachelor’s degree in related field required: Project Management Professional (PMP) preferred; Agile Certifications preferred (e.g. PSM, CSM, etc.) or equivalent work experience preferred.
