Job Description

Following a hybrid work schedule out of our global headquarters in downtown Chicago, the Financial Systems Manager will be responsible for supporting the deployment of our Oracle Enterprise Planning and budgeting cloud solution in close collaboration with internal stakeholders and external (off-shore) support. Additionally, the role supports the governance activities around finance metadata in Oracle Enterprise Data Management.

This role falls within the Financial Systems Enablement tower withing Global Business Services (GBS).

Key Responsibilities:

  • Primary functional solution lead on EDM and EBP Oracle applications
  • Coordinate between various internal and external stakeholders
  • Work independently on a project stream of work
  • Foster system adoption, data governance and policy compliance
  • Partner with the IT, GBS and Corporate FP&A teams to identify opportunities to increase efficiencies
  • Encourage change management and business process review for users and markets
  • Manage one direct report as well as primary contact for IT off-shore support teams

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, IT, Finance
  • 5+ years of experience with Oracle-based Planning solutions
  • Previous people management is strongly preferred
  • Strong ability to communicate highly technical information to a functional / business audience
  • Experience developing technical and business requirements for Planning solutions
  • Experience with solution architecture and/or solution configuration
