Job Description

We seek a PMO Lead for Eastern Europe (PL, CZ, SK and UA) to execute a new capability and deliver on the McDonald's transformation vision across the Consumer, Restaurant and Company strategic advantages. This position will be 100% dedicated to Enterprise Transformation and provide strategic alignment, execution excellence and management of all transformation programs embedded in the market. This individual will develop and uphold program management governance standards and processes as defined by the Enterprise Transformation Office. This role aims to ensure the alignment of market transformation with enterprise goals and priorities, solving and advocating for market-specific nuances and challenges (e.g., capacity / resourcing). The Market PMO will drive transformation in connection with other local priorities / projects and run-the-business activities.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Market Alignment: Coordinate market transformation to ensure alignment and delivery of the Accelerating the Arches vision across the three strategic advantages – Consumer, Restaurant, Company. Collaborate closely with Enterprise Transformation Office and program leadership to seamlessly integrate and execute programs across the markets
  • Integrated Market Roadmap: Drive integration of market roadmap and ongoing change control in alignment with Enterprise Transformation Office governance and process. Track execution progress, triage and escalate risks and proactively resolve issues. Facilitate horizontal coordination among market teams to promote a shared understanding of interdependencies. Continuously evaluate and refine the roadmap, adapting plans to accommodate changing priorities, resources, or external factors.
  • Capacity Planning and Execution Management: Understand resource and skill needs of market personnel to support transformation initiatives. Assess existing market capacity and enable talent planning with market leadership and People team. Support mobilization of in-market teams for each initiative in partnership with global programs (part-time SMAs, full-time, backfills, etc.).
  • Cross-Functional Stakeholder Management and Escalation: Act as key liaison with various stakeholders, including global, segment and market leadership to drive alignment. Escalate key issues and risks as needed. Partner with in-market Change Management & Comms teams to foster buy-in across teams and with franchisees and effectively communicate progress and key changes throughout the transformation. Drive “share & steal” opportunities across markets and programs.

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:

Educations & Certifications:

  • Project Mgmt. Professional (PMP®) Certified
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, Communications, HR, Data & Analytics, or related field.

Qualifications

Education & Certifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business management, human resources, or related field.
  • Desirable: master’s degree in business management, human resources, or related field.

Skills and Experience:

You will have solid experience in Change Management including:

  • Designing and executing project plans & managing budgets
  • Managing program and project teams, and/or executing Change or Transformation projects for clients and business customers in relevant industries.
  • Working across countries in Eastern Europe including Poland, Czech Republic, Slovakia & Ukraine.
  • Advisory and coaching

Stakeholder Management:

Ability to lead people and partner with stakeholders to maintain influence with business leaders and drive alignment to transformation.
