Job Description

Proper Change Management is a critical success factor to growth at McDonald’s. We are rethinking how we support Change at McDonald’s through the formation of a McDonald’s Change Center of Excellence (COE). The Change COE partners with leaders to enable the human side of transformation, ensuring people adopt the changes needed to promote the long-term success of our business. As a member of the Change COE, you will be a part of a team that is building something new. McDonald’s Change COE is seeking a Sr. Manager, Change Partner for Eastern Europe (PL, CZ, SK and UA) markets. The Change Partner is responsible for managing a portfolio of Change programs for a specific function or market within the Enterprise. This role is additionally responsible for overseeing progress of low - medium complexity change programs, maintaining alignment and integration with key stakeholders, driving change intake discussions, and contributing to the Change capability development. The Change Partner can also be deployed to change programs within their alignment. This role will report to Sr. Director – Change COE Lead within the Global People function.

What will you do?

Drive Adoption with One McDonald’s Way of Doing Change

  • Maintain an understanding of Change and how it contributes to broader McDonald’s strategy and priorities
  • Work with functional business partners to intake, scope and deliver Change support requests related to functional/market alignment
  • Advise and coach functional leaders on key Change Management decisions (e.g. strategy, execution, and measurement) to ensure alignment with McDonald’s Change methodology
  • Facilitate delivery of Change leveraging McDonald’s Change framework, methodology, and resources
  • Partner to perform/assess stakeholder and change impact analysis, identifying potential project impacts/risks
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and incorporate feedback on value realization inputs/outputs such as KPI development & measurements
  • Lead or participate in change management projects as needed
  • Leverage the power of Center of Excellence partners for subject matter expertise
  • Understand the business priorities and translate them into the highest impact Change programs
  • Provide change management, training and development as needed on Change practices

Develop and Mentor your People

  • Act as a coach and mentor to develop junior resources and establish a collaborative and inclusive culture in the COE
  • Provide clarity for team to understand the big picture, broader McDonald’s strategy/ context

Support Growth of Change Knowledge across the Enterprise

  • Gain understanding of Change Framework and support training of partners, practitioners, and business leaders
  • Provide input, document requirements and support the design and delivery of training programs with internal and external partners.
  • Actively identify influential partners and ways to inspire Change initiatives on specific projects

Qualifications

Education & Certifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business management, human resources, or related field.
  • Desirable: master’s degree in business management, human resources, or related field.

Skills and Experience:

You will have solid experience in Change Management including:

  • Designing and executing project plans & managing budgets
  • Managing program and project teams, and/or executing Change or Transformation projects for clients and business customers in relevant industries.
  • Advisory and coaching
  • Working across countries in Eastern Europe including Poland, Czech Republic, Slovakia & Ukraine.

Stakeholder Management:

Ability to lead people and partner with stakeholders to maintain influence with business leaders and drive alignment to transformation.
