Role Summary

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Customization Developer to join our Messaging R&D team in Brno. In this role, you will be part of a collaborative group of engineers focused on customizing and enhancing messaging products such as SMS Center and MMS Center. You will work closely with cross-functional R&D teams and deployment engineers to deliver tailored solutions that meet customer requirements. This position offers a dynamic environment where you will engage in requirement analysis, project estimation, implementation, and support of your colleagues activities, all within an Agile framework.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain customizations for messaging products (SMS, MMS, etc.)
• Collaborate with other developers and R&D teams to deliver high-quality solutions
• Analyze customer requirements and translate them into technical specifications
• Provide effort estimates and contribute to project planning and prioritization
• Support deployment engineers during installation and troubleshooting of customizations
• Perform basic engineering testing and validation of developed features
• Participate in Agile ceremonies and contribute to continuous improvement
• Communicate effectively in Czech and English with internal and external stakeholders

Job Requirements

Technical Skills:

• Proficiency in Linux-based environments
• Strong scripting skills in Python and Lua
• Experience with C++ or other compiled languages is a plus
• Basic understanding of network communication protocols and principles

Soft Skills:

• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Effective communication and negotiation skills
• Proactive attitude and willingness to learn

Language Requirements:

• Fluent in Czech (spoken and written)
• Proficient in English (minimum B2 level)

Other:

• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments is an advantage
• Previous experience in telecom or messaging systems is a plus
