What we offer

As the Marketing Specialist you are responsible for creating and implementing marketing and communication activities related to selling homes, while enhancing the value of the Mattamy Brand. The Marketing Specialist manages all projects related to advertising, community presentation, public relations, community events and corporate sponsorships, while providing The Best Homeowner Experience.

What you’ll do

  • Partner with management to establish effective advertising, communications & public relations programs based on previously established strategy.
  • Execute and implement all marketing elements of the strategic plan and support sales with required material.
  • Monitor and analyze KPIs to ensure that company strategies and goals are reached and advise on future initiatives.
  • Liaise with corporate agency on production of collateral material for new and on-going projects. Review and approve final drafts.
  • Plan scheduled marketing activities for sales opening/releases as directed by the Senior Manager, Sales & Marketing, and the Critical Path timeline.
  • Coordinate and manage multiple company events, including product launch events, marketing requirements for sales releases as well as select and maintain inventory for closing gifts and give away items.
  • Work alongside management to complete all aspects of community presentation.
  • Work with management to determine opportunities and develop ongoing marketing and advertising campaigns and activities.
  • Ensure all internal departments and external vendors maintain a high level of brand understanding.
  • Attend regular meetings to maintain knowledge on activities and needs in the community.
  • Perform general office administration duties such as processing invoices, HST rebate paperwork and ordering sales office supplies.
  • Other duties as required.

What you bring

  • Bachelor of Arts, Marketing, Communications, or equivalent education
  • 1+ years brand marketing experience with 2 years direct customer sales experience
  • 1+ years of budget management experience
  • Analytical, organized and experienced at managing many moving targets
  • Results oriented – organized individual capable of setting realistic and attainable deadlines
  • Excellent judgement and strategic thinking, including the ability to identify and analyze issues and opportunities
  • Proactive and strong problem-solving skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft and Adobe programs

Compensation

Salary + Bonus Verbiage:

The expected base salary range for this position is $57,500 - $87,500. Actual pay may vary depending on your job-related knowledge, competencies, and skills. We recognize that exceptional situations may fall outside this range, and we encourage all interested candidates to apply.
