What we offer
The Senior Financial Analyst, FP&A provides leadership in strategic financial planning and analysis, driving insights that shape operational and corporate decisions. The successful candidate will surface valuable insights from variance analysis, manage budgets and forecasts, and deliver executive-ready presentations. As a key business partner, this role will analyze performance drivers, support ERP implementation, and design dashboards for actionable metrics. The Senior Financial Analyst, FP&A will collaborate across Operations, Supply Chain, and Finance to improve forecasting accuracy, identify risks and opportunities, and enhance processes. The ideal candidate brings experience in high-visibility roles, a strategic continuous improvement mindset, exceptional attention to detail, and a partnership-focused approach. This role will deliver impactful decision support and has the chance to influence business outcomes in an innovative, high-growth environment.
What you’ll do
- Develop and maintain the in-year financial models reflecting production volume, yield, scrap, labor/machine rates, and overhead absorption.
- Support and / or lead the preparation of annual budgets and rolling forecasts (P&L, cash flow, working capital), as well as presentation materials for executive audiences.
- Produce margin bridges and conduct cost variance analysis for key performance drivers (e.g. price, volume, mix, labor/efficiency, overhead absorption) to support monthly performance reviews.
- Collaborate with accounting and cost accounting teams to ensure accurate, timely reporting of financial results and inventory/costing data.
- Support ERP implementation and maintenance by defining reporting requirements, validating data, and designing dashboards for operational and financial metrics.
- Be a key point of contact and provide strategic decision support to Operations, Supply Chain, and Corporate Stakeholders.
- Partner with business groups to understand drivers and assumptions to improve forecasting accuracy as well as identify risks, opportunities and potential actions.
- Continuously evaluate and implement improvements to processes and analysis capabilities.
- Ad hoc analysis and projects, including margin and ROI analysis and board materials.
- Foster strong working relationships across the businesses and work proactively to identify opportunities for finance to act as a strategic business partner.

What you bring
- University Degree, with a focus in Finance or Accounting.
- Accounting designation, CPA preferred.
- 3+ years of progressively responsible, hands-on FP&A experience in a complex organization.
- Proven expertise in financial modelling, variance analysis and management reporting, with a strong commitment to driving continuous improvement.
- Sound judgment, with the ability to critically analyze situations, problem-solve, and deal with ambiguity.
- Strong customer focus with excellent relationship building and a collaborative working style.
- Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, including the ability to communicate effectively with all levels of the organization.
- Demonstrates the highest level of ethics, personal integrity, and detail orientation.
- Ability to handle multiple competing deliverables at a time, with accurate and timely delivery.
- Advanced MS Excel and PowerPoint skills
Bonus points
- Experience with leveraging AI tools like CoPilot or ChatGPT in a Finance context.
- Experience in highly automated manufacturing environments
- Experience with OneStream, JDE, or Hyperion
- Experience in a medium or large firm
Compensation
The expected base salary range for this position is $70,000 - $110,000. Actual pay may vary depending on your job-related knowledge, competencies, and skills. We recognize that exceptional situations may fall outside this range, and we encourage all interested candidates to apply.
