What we offer

As the Marketing Coordinator you are responsible for marketing and communication activities related to selling homes, while at the same time enhancing the value of the Mattamy brand. Working alongside the Marketing team to assist on multiple projects related to advertising, community presentation, community events and corporate sponsorships, lead nurturing and content creation; while providing The Best Home Owner Experience.

What you’ll do

  • Coordinate and execute community events, launches, and onsite activations (leading Calgary events as required) while managing event kits and supporting sponsorship activities.
  • Assist in executing advertising, communications, PR, and social media initiatives, ensuring consistent application of Mattamy brand guidelines across all channels.
  • Capture, edit and post social media content in collaboration with central marketing and in adherence to brand standards.
  • Maintain and update website content and conduct regular audits.
  • Brief in and support email marketing campaigns in collaboration with agency of record.
  • Manage exterior community signage to ensure directionals and branding are well maintained, accurate and up to date.
  • Manage interior sales centers including but not limited to marketing displays, maps, and sales handouts.
  • Liaise with vendors, coordinate quotes and deliveries, and manage inventory.
  • Lead routine tasks such as monthly onboarding presentations and updating monthly advertising/marketing reports.
  • Support with award applications and processing departmental invoices.
  • Collaborate with other departments for marketing support including managing the closing basket program, ordering promotional items and ad hoc request as required.
  • Uphold Mattamy brand guidelines, standards and centrally created templates.
  • Maintain marketing storage – organization, inventory, reorders, etc.
  • Stay current with industry trends and grow your skills through professional development.

What you bring

  • University degree at Bachelor level or suitable post-secondary education.
  • 1-2 years of experience in a Marketing or Communications Coordinator role in a business or corporate environment.
  • Strong written and oral communication skills.
  • Valid driver’s license and access to a vehicle are required.
  • Excellent organizational skills.
  • Results oriented – organized individual capable of setting realistic and attainable deadlines.
  • Excellent judgement and strategic thinking, including the ability to identify and analyze issues and opportunities.
  • Ability to recognize deadlines and work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to exercise independent judgement on routine tasks.
  • Ability to greet and address individuals including external consultants, in a professional manner.
  • Excellent computer skills and command of MS Office applications such as Word, Excel and Outlook.
  • Familiarity with Content Management Systems (such as Sitecore CMS) is an asset.
  • Experience with Microsoft dynamics CRM, Canva and GA4 is an asset.
  • Experience in the new home building and development industry is an asset.
  • Ability to work both as part of a team and independently
  • Willingness and eagerness to learn and grow as a marketing professional
