Marvell’s CCS organization is looking for a talented senior leader to join our hardware engineering team, reporting to the VP, CCS HW Engineering and Country Manager.
As a Senior Director, you’ll be responsible for collaborating with various teams to develop strategies, pushing the IP roadmap, and supporting multiple SOCs. This starts at the product definition phase with architecture and marketing then continues through execution of all efforts required including supporting productization. You’ll provide leadership in the development of highest value-add IP & SOC plans and strategies with cutting edge process, speed and performance designs.
The planning and execution need to be rationalized with budget and market timing requirements. Experience and judgement in determining the value of the tasks defined and executed by the team is important. This is a fast-paced, intellectually challenging position, and you’ll work with thought leaders in multiple technology looking for ways to improve the value and quality of the effort while keeping cost in budget.
In this role, you will:
• Lead and grow a high-performing team responsible for developing advanced subsystems, co-processors, accelerators, and full SoCs. The team spans front-end design, verification, and close collaboration with physical design engineers in central engineering.
• Drive the development of methodologies and infrastructure to address evolving technology challenges, including advanced semiconductor processes, high-speed I/O, increased networking bandwidth, embedded cores, and co-processor integration
• Collaborate cross-functionally with architecture, SoC, software, firmware, program management, and post-silicon teams to define plans and ensure successful execution.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to team members, fostering growth and innovation.
• Champion continuous improvement initiatives across methodologies, design techniques, and automation workflows.
• Own project schedules and deliverables, including tracking and reporting progress metrics to stakeholders.
