The Test Operations Group supports the Test, Product Engineering and Production groups activities. Our primary function is to maintains various types of test equipment used on the test floor to develop, debug and process devices ranging from Carrier, Automotive, Enterprise and Data Center product lines. Interfacing with vendors from various manufactures including Advantest, Teradyne, Cohu, HonPrec, Seiko-Epson, Delta, Chroma, TEL, Semics.What You Can Expect
- Responsible for helping to maintain Advantest 93K and Teradyne Uflex testers and related hardware (Boards Sockets device kits).
- Provide tester, handler and prober and hardware support to Test, Product Engineering and Production Teams.
- Work with the Field Service Engineers from the various manufactures to diagnose, troubleshoot and repair the handlers and prober systems.
- Perform hardware and software upgrades as needed.
- Help to input and track request for new hardware request from the Product, Test and Production teams as well as to provide a solution to the current process.
- Work with vendors to obtain quotes for replace and spare parts.
- Work with other team members to resolve test equipment issues.
- Assist in performing calibration and Preventive Maintenance as needed
- Work to help drive future improvements to Marvell’s Test floor environment.
- Must be willing to work in a multi-tasking, fast pace, team oriented working environment.
What We're Looking For
- Working towards Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical Engineering or related fields. Internships in the semiconductor field is a plus.
- Basic understanding, identifying and repair various types of electro-mechanical systems.
- Basic PC skills with Microsoft office suite.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Windows, Linux operating and networking skills and inventory control systems is a plus
Expected Base Pay Range (USD)
23 - 47, $ per hour.The successful candidate’s starting base pay will be determined based on job-related skills, experience, qualifications, work location and market conditions. The expected base pay range for this role may be modified based on market conditions.
