Your Team, Your Impact
As a Digital IC Design Junior Engineer with Marvell, you’ll be a member of the Central Engineering business group. If you picture Marvell as a wheel, Central Engineering is the center hub providing IP to be used by all the other spokes on that wheel, including Automotive, Storage, Security, and Networking. You’ll be part of a digital team of about eight people making a big impact on this organization, working on ultra-dense and performance Static Random Access Memory (SRAM) memory compilers.This team hires some of the biggest problem solvers in Silicon and has a huge impact on the work done at Marvell. The customers served by this team are often other chip companies and big tech companies, familiar names to all candidates.
What You Can Expect
The Digital Design Engineer will be responsible for the implementation of a various Framer blocks for high-speed coherent transceiver. Responsibilities among RTL design/coding, C/C++ verification, implementing automated test cases, building, and maintaining regressions benches.
What We're Looking For
• Engineering degree in electronics, computers, or software.
• Fluency with ‘C’, ‘C++’, Python and basic knowledge in Verilog, System Verilog or VHDL.
• Good knowledge of Object Oriented Programming concepts.
• Communications standards/framing structure are highly desirable (IEEE, Ethernet protocols).
• Ability to work independently as well as in teams.
• Ability to work across functions and levels.
Preferred:
• Experience in architectural design and implementation in VLSI or FPGA is desirable.
• Basic knowledge on standard verification methods (ie UVM), regression and testplan.
• Creative design ability to solve problems demanding the highest levels of speed.
• Good English communication skills (verbal and written) is desirable
