You will be part of the team working on Preamplifier and providing full custom integrated circuit solution for magnetic hard disk drives development.What You Can Expect
As a Digital IC Design Principal Engineer with Marvell, you will be a key leader in leading a team of digital design engineer to design and development of digital blocks within preamplifier integrated circuits; driving innovation and ensuring high-performance solutions for cutting-edge applications.
Additional responsibilities will include, but not be limited to:
- Developing and implementing the digital sections of preamplifier ICs based on product requirements and specifications.
- Creating and maintaining design documentation, including schematics, block diagrams, and interface specifications.
- Utilizing hardware description languages (HDLs) such as Verilog or VHDL to design digital logic circuits.
- Implementing and verifying RTL (Register-Transfer Level) code, ensuring it meets functional, performance, and area requirements.
- Designing and architecting digital blocks, including control logic, data converters (ADCs/DACs)
- Optimizing digital designs for performance, power efficiency, and area constraints.
- Collaborating closely with analog IC design engineers to ensure seamless integration of digital and analog blocks within the preamplifier IC.
- Good communication skills in English, and ability to work with international teams
What We're Looking For
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering or related fields and 10-15 years of related professional experience.
- Master’s degree and/or PhD in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering or related fields with 5-10 years of experience.
- Experience in managing technical projects and teams.
- Proficiency in Verilog/System Verilog for RTL design and coding.
- Strong understanding of digital design principles, including logic gates, flip-flops, state machines, and clocking strategies.
- Experience with front-end and back-end design flows including synthesis, place & route, timing analysis, formal verification, and DFT.
- Familiarity with industry-standard Electronic Design Automation (EDA) tools like Cadence, Synopsys, or Mentor Graphics.
- Knowledge of low-power design techniques, such as clock gating and power gating.
