What You Can Expect

Operations & Facilities:

  • Supervise global FM partners to ensure seamless FM operations for assigned sites.
  • Direct technical facility operations, prioritizing maintenance of critical equipment such as UPS, HVAC, BMS, LMS, and others supporting CREW operations.
  • Timely renewals of all AMC's, Develop and adhere to a preventive maintenance schedule for critical equipment to minimize downtime and ensure uninterrupted operations.
  • Supervise technical operators in conducting daily and routine inspections and maintenance tasks.
  • Establish processes for regular technical operations and emergency preparedness, ensuring adherence from the technical team.
  • Guarantee optimal performance and 100% uptime of Marvell's labs, including critical rooms like MDF & IDF, while minimizing any potential business impact.

For emergencies / unexpected shut-downs:

  • Create and manage facilities emergency plans
  • Ensure emergency and proper shut-down processes and back-up power prioritization plan are followed
  • Communicate prioritization for back-up power and answer questions from office and lab users as needed
  • Build, procure, & maintain spare parts inventories as needed for PPM

Lab:

  • Assist in acquiring lab infrastructure requirements (power, cooling, gas...etc.) Assist in the adoption of lab guidelines
  • Review and perform initial triage on facilities tickets related to labs
  • Collect lab performance & compliance KPIs periodically

Day-to-Day FM Operations:

  • Manage office space efficiently, ensuring it meets the needs of employees and business operations.
  • Maintain cleanliness and functionality of cafeteria and pantry areas.
  • Initiate purchase requisitions for facilities and workplace operations, ensuring timely procurement of necessary items related to facilities consumables (Housekeeping and Electrical)
  • Keep track of inventory for office equipment assets and manage their maintenance and replacement as needed.

Attend to day-to-day needs of employees, providing support and resolving issues promptly.

  • SME for MEP services for all the Marvell site.
  • Cost & Budget Management – Facilities:
  • Prepare and obtain management approval for CAPEX and OPEX budgets for the site yearly related to Facilities spend.
  • Track monthly budget versus expenses with CREW finance coordinator/SPOC.
  • Identify and address deviations, aligning with management for additional budgets.
  • Implement savings initiatives and provide timely updates on achievements.

Compliance and Communication:

  • Collaborate cross-functionally to address facility issues, ensuring facilities Services align with business needs.
  • Ensure compliance with local, state, and central regulations for facility maintenance.

Office & Facilities Improvement initiatives:

  • Proactively Identify the possible improvements in the offices including branding as per Marvell standards
  • Lead office fit-out projects and efficiently manage refurbishment initiatives.
  • Assist in preparing the real estate project process guidelines.

ISO 9001 & 27001 Audit

  • Conduct audits to ensure compliance with ISO 9001 & 27001 standards.
  • Implement corrective actions as needed to address audit findings.

IWMS Implementation

  • Lead the implementation of Integrated Workplace Management System (IWMS) to streamline facility management processes.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure successful implementation and adoption.

IFMS Team Management:

  • Define Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) for facility management operations (FM partner).
  • Track KPIs during the QBR and implement corrective actions as needed to achieve targets.
  • If FM partner's KPI scores fall below agreed levels, ensure necessary debit is conducted against the management fee

IWMS Ticket Closure:

  • Oversee the closure of tickets in IWMS related to facility management issues.
  • Monitor ticket resolution times and ensure timely resolution of issues.

Data Center & Lab Efficiency:

  • Optimize the efficiency of data centers and labs to ensure cost-effectiveness and reliability.
  • Implement measures to improve energy efficiency and reduce environmental impact.

Data Reporting:

  • Generate daily reports to track key facility management metrics.
  • Prepare Monthly Management Reports (MMR) for senior management review.
  • Manage inventory data of all FM related assets at site and ensure accuracy and completeness.

FM Policy and Procedure Compliance:

  • Ensure that FM policies are written fresh as per the region to meet local regulatory requirements and operational contexts.
  • Periodically review and update FM policies to reflect best practices and regulatory requirements.

Business Continuity Planning (BCP) Report Creation and Maintenance:

  • Develop and maintain Business Continuity Planning (BCP) reports for the site.
  • Outline strategies, procedures, and resources required to ensure the continued operation of critical functions during emergencies, disasters, or other disruptive events.
  • Regularly review and update BCP reports to reflect changes in risk assessments, business priorities, or external factors impacting business continuity.

EHS Support at Site:

  • Collaborate with the EHS team to ensure compliance with all safety regulations and standards.
  • Assist in implementing EHS policies, procedures, and programs to promote a safe work environment.
  • Conduct regular inspections of the workplace to identify potential safety hazards and areas for improvement.
  • Work with the EHS team to assess and prioritize identified safety gaps for corrective action.
  • Collaborate with the EHS team to arrange and facilitate safety trainings for employees, including Basic Life Support (BLS), Emergency Response Team (ERT), and Ergonomic training.
  • Maintain training records and ensure compliance with training requirements.

Efficiency & Sustainability:

  • Develop a comprehensive plan for identifying processes for achieving energy conservation, waste reduction, and segregation, and implementing environmentally friendly practices with EHS team.
  • Identify opportunities for significant reductions in energy consumption and explore new technologies and processes to enhance regular operations.

Green Power Initiatives:

  • Develop and implement strategies to promote the use of green power within facilities by working with the government/Building authorities and EHS team, as appropriate.
  • Monitor energy consumption and identify opportunities for improvement.

What We're Looking For

  • Educational Qualifications: BE in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering (Strictly required; no other qualifications will be accepted).
  • Experience: Minimum of 10-12 years of experience in managing MEP operations within a large facility or corporate environment Or Semiconductor industry
  • Technical Skills: Strong expertise in MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing), HVAC , BMS systems, with a proven track record of ensuring business continuity and operational excellence.
  • Analytical Skills: Proficient in data analysis, with advanced skills in Microsoft Excel for reporting and analysis.
  • Presentation Skills: Ability to create and deliver effective presentations to stakeholders at all levels.
  • Soft Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a focus on collaboration and teamwork.
  • Work Ethic: Highly punctual, dedicated, and reliable, with a strong commitment to maintaining the highest standards of operational performance.
  • Problem-Solving: Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex issues related to facilities management.
  • Project Management: Experience in overseeing small & large-scale projects and working closely with FM partners to ensure timely and high-quality deliverables.
  • Flexibility: Ability to adapt to changing priorities and handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Knowledge of local regulations and standards related to facilities management and MEP operations.

Expected Base Pay Range (USD)

124,510 - 186,500, $ per annum

The successful candidate’s starting base pay will be determined based on job-related skills, experience, qualifications, work location and market conditions. The expected base pay range for this role may be modified based on market conditions.
