Opportunity: Sr. Director of Engineering IT Marvell Technology seeks a visionary Sr. Director of Engineering IT to lead our engineering IT strategy and operations. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Cloud, engineering infrastructure, HPC services, cybersecurity, and IT infrastructure, driving strategy, innovation, digital transformation, and efficiency in our evolving technological landscape.

What You Can Expect

  • Lead and manage engineering IT global operations, ensuring smooth delivery of high-quality engineering services (Infrastructure, applications) and experience.
  • Oversee the engineering infrastructure and application environment to optimize efficiency, scale, resiliency, and end-to-end developer experience.
  • Develop and execute IT strategies that support the company’s business objectives and engineering requirements.
  • Spearhead major initiatives like EDA to cloud to drive the transformation of IT teams, processes, and technology to enhance agility, scale, and innovation.
  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement of IT services and organizational capabilities to meet or exceed business needs.
  • Ensure the alignment of IT services with the needs of global engineering projects and operations.
  • Provide leadership and strategic direction to a diverse team of IT professionals, promoting a collaborative and results-driven work environment.
  • Manage budgets, vendor relationships, and contract negotiations to support engineering IT initiatives.
  • Report to the executive leadership team on the progress of IT projects, operations, and strategic initiatives.

What We're Looking For

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in information technology, Computer Science, or related field.
  • 10+ years of relevant work experience in engineering infrastructure operations with at least 5 years in a senior management role.
  • Proven expertise in engineering infrastructure and applications including HPC and Cloud services
  • Exceptional leadership skills with the ability to drive innovation, digital transformation and lead geographically dispersed teams.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent strategic planning, project management and budgeting skills
  • Strong communication, interpersonal and relationship management skills.
  • Experience with ServiceNow and ITIL frameworks.

Expected Base Pay Range (USD)

177,800 - 263,070, $ per annum

The successful candidate’s starting base pay will be determined based on job-related skills, experience, qualifications, work location and market conditions. The expected base pay range for this role may be modified based on market conditions.

This role is eligible for our hybrid work model in which you will be able to split time between working from home and on-site in a Marvell office.
