Reporting to the Front Office Manager Must be available for 3 shifts a week including weekends & holidays based on business volumes.Sample shift times are: 7:00am - 3:30pm 10:00am - 6:30pm 3:00pm - 11:30pm Qualifications: Strong telephone skills with previous experience in a similar role an asset.Strong typing and clerical skills Organized and detail oriented.Strong interpersonal skills and English communication skills.Bilingual an asset.Proven ability to handle many conflicting priorities at any given time.Able to work well under pressure.A passion for Guest serviceKnowledge of the Kanata and Ottawa area is an asset. Responsibilities: Handle all Guest requests promptly and efficiently.Provide information on hotel services.Dispatch Guest requests to the following departments: Housekeeping, Guest Services, Maintenance, Room Service and Outlets.Maintain an excellent relationship with all departments dealt with on a daily basis.Answer all incoming phone calls in a timely manner. Dispatching requests as required. Maintain accurate records of all guest and partners requests. Perform wake-up call services.Handle and distribute guest mail.Perform emergency call procedures.Upholds the highest standard of internal and external customer service at all times.
