We are looking for a dynamic motivated Hospitality Student!

To be eligible for this position you will be a Bachelor of Hospitality student in third year who will be returning to school in the fall.

You will assist and guide food and beverage Partners in providing sensational experiences for our guests.

THIS IS A SEASONAL POSITION (May – September)

This is a vacant role.

Reports To: Food and Beverage Operations Manager

You will have the following qualifications:

Previous Food and Beverage experience

Previous Point of Sale system experience (Micros Simphony)

Computer literate in Microsoft Office

Be enrolled in a Bachelor of Hospitality Program

Excellent communication and organizational skills

Strong interpersonal and problem solving abilities

Highly responsible & reliable

Ability to work well under pressure in a fast paced environment

Ability to work as part of a team

Strong attention to detail

Flexibility in schedule (must be available evenings, weekends, holidays)

Must have Smart Serve Certification

Responsibilities and essential job functions include but are not limited to the following:

Consistently offer professional, friendly and engaging service

Handle guest concerns, reacting quickly and professionally

Have full knowledge of all menus and promotions

Help to ensure Partners have full knowledge of all menu items, garnishes, contents and preparation methods being served in the Food & Beverage Outlets

Follow outlet policies, procedures and service standards

Follow all safety and sanitation policies when handling food and beverage

Other duties as assigned

Ensure that all Health and Safety policies and procedures are practiced

Motivation of partners to perform at their highest abilities

Provide support and leadership to Food and Beverage outlets partners.

Basic Admin duties, including printing menus, sending pass off emails.

Assisting with Inventory and bar requisitions.

Assisting with handling large party reservations.

This is mainly an on floor position.
