As a part of Magnet Forensics, you can expect to make a difference in the world, no matter what role you play. You’ll be supported through learning and development, not to mention an incredible team with unbelievable talent and integrity.
If you think you would be the right person to join our team working towards this goal, we would love to hear from you!
Your Role
We are seeking an experienced and visionary Director of Product Management to lead the strategy, development, and execution of our media forensics portfolio, with a primary focus on the Magnet Griffeye product suite. This role is ideal for a strategic leader with a strong customer focus, a passion for innovation, and a proven ability to align cross-functional teams toward shared goals.
You will own the product strategy, financial performance, and full lifecycle management for your portfolio, while leading and developing a team of skilled product managers. A key part of the role is building strategic alliances and partnerships focused on media intelligence, accelerating product innovation, and delivering measurable customer and business outcomes.
Reporting to the VP of Product Management, you will also play a central role in driving major media-focused initiatives — including corporate development, global GTM strategy, and the transition of products into cloud-native SaaS offerings.
Please note: The role will be a hybrid of remote work and in office for candidates in a commutable distance to our Gotheburg office. We have a flexible working arrangement; however, the candidate must reside in Sweden.
What You Will Accomplish
Strategic Vision & Execution:
· Own and communicate a compelling long-term vision for the Magnet Griffeye product suite, aligning with customer needs and ambitious growth targets.
· Lead the strategic evolution of media forensics products from traditional desktop solutions toward cloud-hosted, SaaS-based capabilities.
· Translate company goals into actionable product strategies and initiatives, balancing short-term execution with long-term innovation.
· Define and execute product roadmaps that align with business priorities and market shifts.
· Champion innovation by identifying new product opportunities and enhancing current offerings to maintain and grow market leadership.
· Build and manage strategic technology and business partnerships, working closely with internal stakeholders to drive joint outcomes.
· Establish and track product success metrics (e.g., adoption, retention, engagement, NPS), using insights to inform continuous improvement.
· Drive iterative roadmap development based on performance data, customer feedback, and competitive intelligence.
Market & Competitor Analysis:
· Monitor and analyze market trends, emerging technologies, and competitive movements to inform product direction.
· Leverage customer insights and market research to position the product effectively and differentiate it from competitors.
· Lead customer engagement efforts, including advisory boards and user groups, to maintain a feedback loop between product development and real-world use.
Leadership and Team Development:
· Inspire and guide a team of product managers, fostering a culture of ownership, accountability, and growth.
· Clearly articulate product vision and strategy to ensure team alignment and motivation.
· Mentor team members and create opportunities for learning and leadership within the group.
· Promote a collaborative and empowered environment that encourages innovation and strategic risk-taking.
Cross-Functional Collaboration:
· Align efforts across engineering, UX design, marketing, and sales to deliver cohesive product experiences.
· Act as the primary product liaison with senior leadership and key stakeholders, clearly communicating priorities, progress, and impact.
· Champion transparency and shared ownership across functions to improve execution and deliver on strategic goals.
What We Are Looking For
We’re looking for someone who checks off most, but not all, of the boxes listed in “skills and experiences”. It’s more important to us to find candidates who can display indicators of success through skills they have developed and experiences they have been a part of, than to find folks who have ‘been there, done that”. We want to be part of your development journey, and we’ll learn as much from you as you learn from us.
There are a couple must haves, but we will keep that list short:
· 8-10+ years of product management experience, with at least 3+ years in a senior leadership role, ideally with P&L responsibility in a global, high-tech environment.
· Proven success leading and scaling SaaS or cloud-based product portfolios, with a deep understanding of deployment, subscription, and lifecycle models.
· Demonstrated ability to guide the transition from legacy desktop software to cloud-hosted solutions while maintaining customer satisfaction and growth.
· Strong business acumen, with deep understanding of key SaaS metrics (ARR, CAC, churn, NRR) and how to apply them in strategic planning.
· Experience defining product strategy, managing cross-functional teams, and making high-impact decisions in fast-paced environments.
· Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders, present to executives, and build alignment across diverse audiences.
· Experience leading customer-facing initiatives and translating market needs into product opportunities.
· Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or related field required; MBA or advanced degree strongly preferred.
· Travel as needed to meet role responsibilities.
The Most Important Thing:
We’re looking for candidates that can provide examples of how they have demonstrated Magnet CODE in their previous experiences:
CARE – We care about each other and our mission to make a difference in the world.
OWN – We are accountable for our results – while never forgetting to act with integrity, empathy, and respect.
DEDICATE – We put our heart and soul into meeting the needs of our customers and helping them serve the people they protect.
EVOLVE – We are constantly innovating and exploring new ways to work together to make an impact with our work.
